History

Everline Resort & Spa (formally known as the Resort at Squaw Creek) opened in 1992 with 405 guest rooms. Today it features a championship golf course, heated swimming pools, a 150-foot water slide, hiking and biking trails, a fly-fishing center, a private ice-skating rink and ski-in, ski-out accessibility to Palisades Tahoe as well as 33,000 square-foot conference center. The resort is located at the base of Palisades Tahoe, the third largest ski resort in North America.

Palisades Tahoe

Palisades Tahoe (formally known as Squaw Valley) is a ski resort located in Olympic Valley, California, northwest of Tahoe City in the Sierra Nevada range. From its founding in 1949, the resort was known as Squaw Valley; it changed its name in 2021. It was the host site for the 1960 Winter Olympics and the 2024 World Cup. Palisades Tahoe is the largest ski complex in the Lake Tahoe region and is known for its challenging terrain with a base elevation of 6,200 feet and a skiable 3,600 acres across six peaks.

In 2020, the ski resort was renamed Palisades Tahoe to honor and show respect for the Washoe Tribe, as the term "squaw" is considered derogatory. Learn More
