A Guide to Lake Tahoe
Know Before You Go
Everline Resort & Spa is located 42 miles west of the Reno/Tahoe International Airport, 200 miles east of San Francisco and 100 miles east of Sacramento via Interstate 80 with access to Highway 89 south. Limousine/shuttle service can be arranged for guests through our Concierge.
If you are driving to the Resort in the winter season, we strongly recommend renting either an AWD or 4WD vehicle. If you have a 2WD vehicle, we recommend keeping chains with you in the case of chain control during stormy conditions, which is common in the winter season. Practice putting your chains on prior to your journey to the Resort to avoid any unforeseen complications.

Be Prepared
To keep up to date on road conditions, visit roads.dot.ca.gov/ ahead of your travels.
In the event of a storm, it is important to have an emergency kit in your car in the case you are stuck on the interstate. We suggest packing food, water, and ensuring your gas tank is full for your journey.
If you visit during a winter storm and use our self-parking lot, please be advised the resort will not offer snow removal. Please come prepared with your own snow removal tools, including a snow shovel and an ice scraper. If you're coming in from Truckee, Mountain Hardware and Sports will have everything you need to keep you safe during the winter.

At the Resort, we have three pools, a nature trail to Olympic Valley, and a fire burning at night. Be sure to pack a jacket, even in the summer months, as the nights can get chilly.
During the winter, be sure to bring waterproof boots and clothes. Pack layers so you can regulate your temperature as necessary. If you’re planning on skiing or snowboarding and don’t have your own gear, we have a wide variety of rentals and clothing available for you to rent or purchase.
